With the decision on granting subsidies for preservation and development of traditional crafts, nineteen (19) subsidies have been granted to business entities dealing with one of 15 traditional crafts. The subsidies are in the amount from 300.000, 400.000 and 600.000 dinars.
Upon the conducted Competition (which lasted from May 18, until June 2, 2017), and based on the suggestion of the Committee, appointed by the Ministry for creation of the proposals on granting subsidies, the Decision was made for granting subsidies for preservation and development of traditional crafts in 2017. Subsidies were granted to the craftsmen dealing with the following traditional crafts: weaving, rug making, embroidery, traditional clothes making, leather crafts, traditional shoe making, jewelry making, pottery, barrel making, distillery tools making, coach making, licitar, mill and bakery, iconography and creation of traditional music instruments (15 traditional crafts), as follows: four subsidies in the amount of 300.000 dinars, ten subsidies in the amount of 400.000 dinars and five subsidies in the amount of 600.000 dinars.
Report on the use of subsidies of economic entities shall be submitted to the Ministry, in the manner and within the deadlines defined by the competition documentation.
